Intial Visit and Consultation
|
Our first task is to understand and listen to what you envision for your new home
cinema. In this meeting, we want to develop the concept for what your home
cinema will look like, the features it will have, and any special goals or objectives
you want to achieve in your new home cinema. Typically the steps in this meeting
are:
- Introduce our company, how we work, show our portfolio and begin
discussing your ideas and provide feedback and suggestions
- Review the architectural plans or visit the existing space where the home
cinema will be located, making suggestions or recommendations on how
best to use the space. We want to make sure the space you have will
accommodate the vision of your home cinema. We will discuss any
necessary modifications necessary to accommodate the design (if any).
- Discuss our Design Fee and how this fee will be utilized to pay for all of the
CAD documentation, project management, and the unlimited on-site visits
with trades and all parties related to this project to see it to completion.
Preliminary Design Concept Meeting
|

After about a week from our fist initial meeting, we will present you with our
Preliminary Design Concept Drawings, created using the latest CAD Design
software. We will also include a photo-realistic 3-D rendering of what we anticipate
your new home cinema to look like. A fabric/color board showing you samples of
all the interior elements (carpet sample, wood sample, paint swatch, fabric swatch,
etc) will be provided. It will be from this meeting that we discuss any issues or
revisions you would like us to make, if any.
Once the Design has been approved, we can then move forward with creating all of
the construction documentation needed for the trades to begin building the room
based on the design. The Construction Documentation consist of the following
sets of drawings:
- Framing Set-Details for all wall, floor, ceiling and special elements that the
Carpenter will need to frame out the room
- Electrical Set-Details for all electrical requirements for the room including
dimension lighting locations, lighting control system, and a very thorough
fixture and electrical schedule identifying all zones and electrical loads in
the cinema.
- HVAC Set-Dimensioned supply and return location and special suggested
guidelines for installation and insuring quiet air flow to the room.
- AV Prewire Set-Dimensioned location of all speaker, projector, screen, and
av equipment rack and specified requirements for install.

We will provide project management services to assist in the coordination of trades
and all parties involved on your project to ensure the right steps are taking during
the building process. It is crucial that a certain order be established as it relates to
each trades involvement in building your custom home cinema. We are available
during the entire building process to assist and answer any questions. It is
important that we develop a team approach with the project members to make it a
success. Project Management time is included in our design fee and is unlimited
through the completion of the project.
After your new Custom-designed Home Cinema is complete, it is our goal to make
sure you are 100% satisfied. We will spend as much time as needed to help you
learn how to effectively operate and enjoy the many wonderful features your new
Kasabe Designed Home Cinema will have. We strive to make operating your
home cinema as easy as possible by utilizing state-of-the-art control systems
which will provide you with one-touch operation of most features.
Your Home Cinema is a unique work of technological art. We are confident you will
enjoy many countless hours with friends and family watching movie magic unfold in
the comfort of your own home.
